Hi there, I’m Saira.

About Me

I’m a UX/UI designer in NYC who blends creativity, empathy, and problem-solving to build digital experiences that people actually enjoy using. I’m all about designing with heart, purpose, and a little bit of fun!

How I Got Here

I’ve always been a maker at heart —

  • Grew up claying, drawing, painting, crocheting (and daydreaming about what to create next).

  • Fell in love with technology and the way it constantly evolves.

  • Combined my artistic roots + curiosity for tech into a career in UX/UI.

What Shapes My Work

  • I design experiences that are inclusive, engaging, and built with care for real people.

  • My past as a network analyst honed my analytical side — methodical, thoughtful, and data-aware.

  • I also create content as a nano-influencer, collaborating with brands to connect with audiences authentically.

Why UX/UI?

UX lets me bring together:

  • My love for creativity and imagination

  • My problem-solving, research, and strategy skills

  • My passion for designing experiences that make life a little easier, a little better

Other things I enjoy …

Through Content Creation, I’ve developed a strong eye for visual storytelling and composition. Capturing product shots and editing them to highlight key features has sharpened my skills in visual hierarchy and branding. This experience mirrors my approach to UX/UI, where I design interfaces that are both visually impactful and user-focused.

Crocheting allows me to embrace patience and iterative problem-solving. From creating intricate patterns to refining designs, I’ve learned the value of attention to detail and testing ideas. This directly translates into my UX/UI process, where I iterate on wireframes and prototypes to craft cohesive, user-centered designs.

My passion for henna art has honed my ability to create intricate, balanced, and aesthetically pleasing designs. The symmetry and detail is a cornerstone of my UX/UI work, where I aim to design interfaces that are both functional and visually harmonious.

Baking combines precision with creativity, requiring careful planning while leaving room for personal flair. It has taught me the importance of following processes and ensuring consistency, skills that I bring to UX/UI design when crafting user flows and maintaining design systems.
